I’m still pretty new to the rep world, so I wanted to share my experience and get some real opinions before I make a final decision on this 187 Factory Chanel Classic Flap.
I just received my PSPs from my seller, and while everything looks good to me at first glance, I honestly don’t trust my eyes yet 😅 — especially when it comes to details like quilting, structure, and overall feel.
Seller & Factory Info
- Seller: Heidi (communication has been smooth and reassuring so far)
- Factory: 187 Factory (often referred to as 187 King)

First Impressions from PSPs
Looking at the photos, nothing immediately jumps out as “off,” which I know is usually a good sign — especially with 187 Factory Chanel, since they’re known for consistency.
Quilting & Puffiness
This is honestly my biggest concern.
The diamonds look aligned and clean, but I’m not 100% sure about the puffiness. From what I’ve seen:
- Authentic Chanel flaps tend to have a slightly softer, more pillowy look (especially in caviar)
- Some reps can look a bit too flat or overly structured
In these PSPs, the puffiness looks moderate — not overly inflated, not completely flat either. I’m just unsure if this falls within authentic variation or not.
Leather Texture (Caviar)
The grain looks pretty consistent across the bag:
- No obvious “plastic shine”
- Texture doesn’t look overly deep or too shallow
From my limited experience, this actually looks quite close to what I’ve seen in boutiques and comparison videos.
Shape & Structure
The structure seems solid:
- Flap looks straight
- Corners don’t appear collapsed
- Side profile doesn’t look warped
187 is usually strong here, and this seems to match that reputation.
Hardware
The gold tone looks good in photos:
- Not overly yellow or brassy
- Logo placement looks centered
- Chain spacing seems even
I know lighting can affect this a lot, so I’m trying not to judge too quickly — but nothing looks obviously off.
What I’m Worried About (Beginner Perspective)
Since I’m still new, these are the things I might be overthinking:
- Is the quilting supposed to be more “puffy”?
- Does the leather look slightly too matte?
- Is there anything subtle I’m missing that more experienced buyers would catch instantly?
That’s why I really wanted to post this before giving the green light.
187 Factory Chanel – My Expectations
From everything I’ve read, 187 Factory is considered one of the best for Chanel reps, especially for Classic Flaps.
People often mention:
- Very accurate proportions
- Consistent stitching
- Reliable leather quality
So part of me feels like I should trust the process… but the other part of me is still nervous because this is my first purchase 😅
Would I Approve This Bag? (So Far)
Honestly — I’m leaning yes, but not confidently yet.
There’s nothing glaringly wrong:
- No crooked stitching
- No obvious alignment issues
- No major shape flaws
But I’d really love a second opinion before confirming.
Final Thoughts
If you’re new like me, PSP checks can feel overwhelming. Everything starts to blur together, and you begin questioning details you didn’t even know existed.
That said, this 187 Chanel flap looks promising — I just want to be sure I’m not missing something subtle before I commit.
